I made a series of paintings of strange suns to go with our strange seasons, and created a setting in which I do interviews with locals who are working to get a bike/pedestrian path on the Verrazzano Bridge. I posted the interviews on Instagram.

The stripes in my paintings are rooted in Danish "almue striber," which translates in English to "stripes of the common/poor people."

As part of the exhibition, I conducted a series of interviews on the Verrazzano Bridge, posted on Instagram, and Anthony sent me photo files that I printed - from his walking on the bridge for its 25th anniversary. 2024 is the 60th anniversary for the Verrazzano but officials did not open it up to the public.
